Phosphor-Copper-Tin Brazing Alloy
This series of brazing alloys is mainly applied for brazing pure copper, brass and bronze based components. It is not suitable for stainless steel, carbon steel or aluminum alloys. It features good wettability, flowability, and self-fluxing feature when brazing pure copper, no extra flux required. Flux is suggested for brazing brass or bronze to obtain better wetting. Applicable brazing processes such as gas flame brazing, induction brazing, and furnace brazing.

| Phosphor- Copper-Tin Brazing Alloy | BCu86PSn | China HL208 | rem. | 6.4-7.2 | Sn:6.5-7.5 | 640-680 | 700-750 | Low melting temperature, excellent flowability and wettability, good capillary filling ability, good conductivity. | This series of alloy is widely used for brazing brass-brass, copper-brass, and copper alloy. For brazing brass and bronze, it is recommended to use a flux for better wetting properties. Not suitable for brazing carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, or iron-based materials. It is also unsuitable for joints subject to high vibration, stainless steel parts, or parts subjected to impact loads. Applications include air conditioning valves, HVAC, gas valves, electrical and power industries, lighting fixtures, other hardware and general machinery (specific applications depend on the base material). They can be produced in rods, wires, and rings as required. | |
